Food Bank
An emergency grocery program provides food assistance to over 1,300 families each month. In 2009, OUR Center distributed 887,571 pounds of emergency groceries to 16,202 households (45,683 individuals). The food pantry team of volunteers helps clients fill out food vouchers and assist clients with selections from the personal care window and bonus window. Volunteers also manage donations, weighing food, marking out bar codes and stocking the food pantry shelves.
We take walk-ins, or people can be referred through the Intake case worker. Vouchers for food are obtained at the Intake Center at 303 Atwood St. People may come in as often as once per week.
To obtain the food voucher, the following is required:
  • Photo Identification
  • Address verification that is less than 3 months old, that shows residency in St. Vrain Valley
Hours 9:30 - 3:30 Monday through Friday
On Tuesdays, we have extended hours from 3:30 - 5:30 pm at the Hospitality Center.
