The following in-kind donations are gladly accepted at OUR Hospitality Center, 250 3rd Ave. (corner of 3rd & Collyer) in Longmont between the hours of 8:00 - 5:00 weekdays and 10:00 - 1:00 weekends and holidays:

Canned goods - fruit, vegetables (especially corn), pop-top meat / protein (especially tuna)
Pasta, rice
Cereal
Bottled water
Baby food (not mixed varieties)
Baby formula (powdered Isomil, Similac, Similac Advanced, Enfamil Lipil with Iron, Enfamil Prosobee)
Baby wipes (unscented)
Diapers (sizes 3-6 most needed)
Personal care products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, brush, comb, wash cloth, razor, lotion, dental floss, etc.

Donations of clothing and household items are taken at the OUR Center Clothing Bank, 50 E. Rogers Rd., Longmont between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday. No toys, books, furniture, or large appliances.

Cash donations may be designated for general operating expenses or a specific program, such as rent, utilities, Day Shelter, Warming Center, prescriptions, local transportation, childcare, or given to the Endowment Fund for Basic Needs or Child Care. Donations to OUR Child Care Center may qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. Contact our Intake Office at 303-772-5529 or info@ourcenter.org for more information.

SPECIAL TAX CREDIT FOR CHILD CARE DONATIONS

Your donations to OUR Child Care Centers qualify for Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit! The OUR Center is committed to providing affordable childcare services to families in need and who are working on self-sufficiency. The average cost for infant and toddler childcare in this community is currently $875 per month. The OUR Child Care Center is the only licensed infant and toddler childcare facility in Longmont providing services on a sliding scale to low income families. Any Colorado taxpayer that makes a monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado may claim income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution, provided it is given by December 31, 2009. Contributions to OUR Child Care Center qualify for this credit. For more information, call our administrative office at 303-772-5529 or consult your tax advisor.
